All words by Jarvis Cocker
All Music by Pulp.

Various Notes:
  • Released over 2 years after Different Class, this album apparently kept the band so busy, a British newspaper offered an award for photographs of Jarvis out and about town.
  • The opening line of "Dishes", "I'm not Jesus but I have the same initials", came to Jarvis while he was riding his bicycle.
  • The cover of this album caused many debates, some thought the girl was dead or a dummy, some thought she was having "porn star sex" (sex that had become routine and boring). Jarvis stated on his AOL Chat that he wanted the cover to be attractive and repulsive at the same time.
  • "Glory Days" was originally "Cocaine Socialism", but the lyrics (which insulted socialists) were changed at Island's request and the original version was released as a b-side to "A Little Soul".
